Where you start doesn't define where you can go
I'm living proof. First-generation college grad from a low-income background. No connections, no roadmap, no life jacket. Just applied faith, unwavering discipline, my family's protection and an irrational dream.
The turning point wasn't talent - it was exposure. Someone showed me what was possible. That single shift, seeing a different path and meeting people who'd walked it, changed my life’s trajectory.
Now I'm an Air Force Academy graduate, Wharton MBA, and MBB consultant, but the credentials aren't the point. The point is this: access and exposure change everything. The right conversation. The right people. The right opportunity at the right time.
Along the journey, my faith has kept me grounded. My heavy-handed parents taught me discipline and service. And community made the impossible feel inevitable. But I haven't arrived (yet), and I'll share the journey here.
Alexis
I met Alexis at a Black student government conference when I approached her in the step show ticket line to "network." From two different worlds, we were exactly what the other needed. Just two ambitious kids at heart, trying to flourish, love eachother well, and honor the Lord. We believe happy and healthy marriages are community assignments, so we’re always welcoming of new friends to do life with.
Family
My hustle and personality comes from my parents. Two working class high-school sweethearts willing to do anything to give my sister and I the necessities of life. Every day I work for the opportunity to give them a better life before they leave this earth. My family means the world to me, and I’m a product of their prayers and unconditional love.
Education
Education is the vehicle to explore life's possibilities. After playing football at the Air Force Academy, I earned a Master's of Public Administration while serving on active duty (in residence, nights and weekends... a true sicko fr). Then came the good'ole Wharton MBA, where I was peer-elected to serve as Student Body President along side a dream-team that I'm forever grateful for.

My entrepreneurial journey started at 11 years old, turning $20 of weekend money into a neighborhood lawn-mowing hustle. The titles got bigger after that, but the job never really changed. I figure out how things work, then I make them work better
In the Air Force, that meant running logistics, HR systems, and emergency operations at Joint Base San Antonio, then serving as Chief of Staff at a Space Command. Now it means strategy consulting at one of the top three firms in the world (the industry calls them MBB), which is a long way of saying I help big companies solve their hardest problems. Nothing crazy
These days my focus is simple. Be the best consultant I can be, and share the journey while I do it. Both, out loud.
That's the whole plan for now. I'll let you know when it changes
